Singalila Sandhakphu Srikhola Trekking Tour

Day 1: Arrival Manybhanjang
Drive along the track of the famous Toy Train on an interesting and eye-catching route, viewing hillsides and valleys dotted with tea gardens, waterfalls and little towns of Kurseong, Sonada and Ghoom. Ghoom, at 2440 mtrs, boasts one of the highest railway stations in the world. From here we go to Manybhanjang (7000 Ft / 2134 mts), it is a small village inhabited by Buddhist Sherpas. Upon arrival, you can relax or explore the town. Overnight at Trekkers Hut.

Day 2: Manybhanjang - Tumling
Wake up to your first day of trekking. From Manybhanjang to Tumling (9742 Ft / 2970 mts, 11 Kms 5 Hrs walk), walk ranging from the moderate to the tough. You will pass through dense forests in which bloom exotic wild flowers. Look for exotic orchids on top of tall trees or on mossy rock ledges. Tumling provides a gorgeous view of the majestic Kanchenjunga on one side and the towns of Darjeeling & Kurseong dotting the landscape on the other. Overnight at Trekkers Hut.

Day 3: Tumling - Kalipokhri
After an early breakfast, we leave Tumling for Kalipokhri (10450 Ft / 3186 mts, 14 Kms 5 Hrs walk), walking along the ridge through bamboo glades, farm lands and the village of Gairibas. Kalipokhri has dark Crystal Lake surrounded by large pine trees. Overnight at Trekkers Hut.

Day 4: Kalipokhri - Sandakphu
After breakfast walk of 04 kms is Bhikeybhanj at 3060 mtrs. The steep ascent to Sandakphu (11926 Ft / 3636 mts, 7 Kms 4 Hrs walk), is dotted with rhododendrons growing in wild abandon. Sandakphu is the highest point in the Singalila range and offers an imposing view of some of the highest mountains in the world- Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, & Lhotse- all above 8000 mtrs. Overnight at Trekkers Hut.

Day 5: Sandakphu - Srikhola
You leave Sandakphu for Srikhola (6232 Ft / 1900 mts, 13 Kms 5 Hrs walk) in the morning. Your walk will be downhill. Overnight at Trekkers Hut.

Day 6: Srikhola - Rimbik
Today your trek to Rimbik (6888 Ft / 2100 mts, 7 Kms 4 Hrs walk). The aroma of thukpas, momos, & other exotic Tibetan dishes welcome you in Rimbik- a small town. You call it a day at Rimbik. Overnight at Trekkers Hut.

Day 7: Leave Rimbik
After breakfast, transfer to the point for your onward connection.
