Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Chennai

Arrive at Chennai Airport or Railway Station and meet your tour representative. Transfer to your hotel and relax after your journey. If time allows, take a short sightseeing tour to Marina Beach, Lighthouse, and San Thome Basilica. Overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 02 : Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram

After breakfast, drive to Kanchipuram, renowned for its ancient temples and silk weaving. Visit the Kailasanathar and Ekambareswarar Temples before continuing to Mahabalipuram. Check in to your hotel and unwind for the evening. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 03 : Mahabalipuram – Tanjore

Explore Mahabalipuram’s Shore Temple, Five Rathas, Krishna’s Butter Ball, and Arjuna’s Penance in the morning. After sightseeing, drive to Tanjore. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Tanjore.

Day 04 : Tanjore – Trichy – Madurai

Depart for Madurai via Trichy. Stop at Rock Fort and Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple in Trichy. Continue to Madurai and check into your hotel. Evening visit to Meenakshi Amman Temple. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 05 : Madurai Sightseeing

Start the day with a visit to the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple, a masterpiece of Dravidian architecture. Later, explore Tirumalai Nayak Palace and nearby marketplaces. Spend the evening soaking in the local culture or enjoying temple ceremonies.

Day 06 : Madurai – Munnar

After breakfast, travel to Munnar, Kerala’s charming hill station. On arrival, check in and enjoy a scenic tea plantation walk or a visit to the Tea Museum for an insight into the region’s tea history.

Day 07 : Munnar – Periyar

Check out and drive to Periyar. After reaching and settling in, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Periyar Lake inside the wildlife sanctuary. The ride offers chances to spot birds, elephants and other wildlife near the water’s edge.

Day 08 : Periyar – Alleppey (Backwaters)

Drive to Alleppey, the home of Kerala’s enchanting backwaters. Board a traditional houseboat and drift past villages, coconut groves and paddy fields. Enjoy meals prepared onboard and experience an unforgettable night on the backwaters.

Day 09 : Alleppey – Cochin

After breakfast or houseboat checkout, travel to Cochin. Explore local attractions like Fort Kochi, local markets and cultural sites. Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 10 : Departure from Cochin

After breakfast, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Tour concludes with wonderful memories of temples, hills, wildlife and backwaters.
